I was traipsing through a soggy paddock somewhere near Nannup in the south west of Western Australia, when I noticed the grass was laced with glistening strands of web as far as I could see. It was just everywhere like thousands of little circus high wires for insects. I kind of felt bad for trampling all over it…

I love the colours of autumn. It’s always been a disappointment to me that there aren’t many deciduous trees in Perth, so we don’t really get the full effect.. but you can find them if you look hard enough…
